School is Back in Session

My first week of the 2010 spring semester has come and gone. I feel like this will be another good semester. I'm taking five classes: Business Foundations, General Psych, Comp II, Data Analysis, and Music Appreciation. This is my first semester having classes that actually apply towards my major. Business Foundations is heavy in accounting (my major) so I will finally get an idea of how well it will fit with me. So far, I get a good vibe from all my classes (and professors as well). The only one that I have a little doubt about is Psych. It's not so much the class as it is the people in the class. I feel like it'll be another repeat of Biology last semester. I liked the class but the people drove me nuts. The thing that gets me the most is how some people need to ask a thousand question to understand the little things. I realize that some people need a little more time to process things, and that having things explained in a different manner may help them understand things better but it still irks me that we have to waste so much time on something that I already understand. I realize how selfish that is. That's why I don't make a big fuss about it (except for the occasional rants). Other than that I'm looking forward to this semester. At the same time though, I can't wait for summer vacation.

Helping Out

I don't have much money but I still gave to a Haiti quake relief fund today. I used Yele.org and donated $5 by texting Yele to 501501. It’s not a lot but anything helps. And if others donate as well it will add up. I wish them well.

Oh That Feeling

As many start their return back to school after winter break, I still have one more week to enjoy. I'm beginning to get that feeling that I always get when something new approaches. I'm anxious, a little scared, and I don't really feel like going through with it. Of course, I won't back down. But that doesn't mean the feeling will go away. In a way, I almost wish that my time to begin a new semester were upon me. That's just crazy talk though.

In other news: I watched My Sister's Keeper tonight. As hard as I tried not to, I did end up shedding a few tears. It was a sad, yet wonderful movie. Which reminds me. I need to update my Netflix Queue...

$$$

I just bought my books for the up coming semester. $623. WTF. I'm glad I received a Pell grant. And a loan.

The Lost Supper

The last season of Lost begins in four weeks. I can’t wait to get some answers.
